My husband and I just stayed at the Cloisters in September and felt absolutely at home and comfortable. The bed was cozy and it really felt like home. Orla and Aileen were so helpful and helped us to plan our trip while in Ireland. Their recommendations for dining and shopping were spot on! Cloisters is an exceptional B&B!! The location is perfect - on the edge of the town centre, just a couple of minutes walk into the town but far enough out to not be kept awake by the nightlife. The owners are really friendly and helpful, and little touches like a weekly list of what pubs have what live music on each night, and a daily weather forecast make all the difference. The decor of the bedrooms is of hotel standard but with a homely feel. Our room wasn't huge, but plenty big enough for a two night stay when you are out sightseeing most of the time. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and made with quality local ingredients. We will definately stay here again on our next trip to Kinsale!! July 2011

There were 6 of us in our group and we all loved our stay here. The rooms were spotless, charming and very comfortable. Breakfasts in their lovely breakfast room were great especially the scrambled eggs and salmon, the ladies couldn't do enough for us. Location is excellent just a short walk to everything. I booked cloisters after the top rated b&b in kinsale said they were booked but I was so happy with cloisters- honestly I can't imagine any better! Great, clean, cheerful rooms. Super welcoming hosts. Awesome location, can easily walk to a few great restaurants. June 2011

Cloisters was a beautiful B and B with lovely large rooms. Orla was gracious and helpful. The food was delicious. Since Kinsale tends to not mark its streets, we had some difficulty finding Friar St, but it was right in the heart of town. We were there on Sat. so it was a lively town. We were easily able to walk everywhere and there were an abundance of pubs and restaurants. We spent 15 days touring the whole Island and the cloisters and Kinsale were 1 of our favourite stays.
